I experience the full strength of super Mario scolding at the Accounts Executive J. Even though I was miles away from the Bomb-room.

“What the fffff….” [almost come out the very useful word] “ do you think you are doing by telling the clients that you are a bookkeeper?! You are a graduate from Australia and bloody hell, you tell people you are just a bookkeeper! How much are you paid each month?”

“….” Accounts Executive J mumbled.

“Do I pay S$xxxx for a bookkeeper?”

Silence.

“You are sacked!”

Luckily the Account Manager stepped in and wanted to give Accounts Executive J one more chance but J rejected.

I mean, who in the “left” mind would stay in the office again and see Mario face where he said right in your face that he is sacking you now, right this minute.

Haiz.

I do not believe the prime factor of sacking him is J rushing out of the accounts and make mistakes. The crux of this issue is that do not ever make this statement to a CEO of the Company whom had recently sacked X&X [one of the big 4] and give the accounting job to your Company whereby he pointed out the mistake and you replying him “I am a Bookkeeper”.

It conveys the subtle message that his billion accounts is handled by a not-qualified person.

Again, who in the “left” mind would feel safe of his Company accounts.

He must be keysiao not to complain.
