October 1, 2009 is a public holiday for all the children in Singapore as they do not need to attend school on this day. Which of course includes my sister. *wink*

Sidenote: Today had a “slightly” terrifying experience, for a split second. I was shaking without my knowledge where the unknown force was so strong that it pulls me forward and backward. Even though it’s short-lasted. I know I am fortunate to be still alive and kicking. Therefore, tomorrow, I shall be a saint and rescue someone. Sshsh..its a secret mission.

I just came back from Jurong Point! I had a good shopping session. Bought 7 working shirts and one pair of shoes – all with discounts!! Thought I can wear the new clothes tml but then I was informed to start work on Monday instead. Might as well right… a bit weird to start work on Friday anyway…ha

Went to the farewell lunch organized by the Corporate Secretarial Department. Not particularly close to them and therefore was amazed by the attendance. All the girls came to farewell for me.

They selected one of the restaurants in Amara Hotel which serve aroma coffee. Food was tasty but the ice green tea.. ha we squeeze as much sugar as we can until there’s taste. Ha

Went out with the first batch of interns when I first joined SMC. Unfortunately, Felicia cant make it. Well, there’s always the next time. And qian ni had to stay at home at the eleventh hour becos of woman problem…haha… Lucky there’s still Iris, Wendy and Laypeng. We had a fun and noisy time at the Settlers’ Café at Clarke Quay.

Mmm.. tml what shall I do? *pondering*

Ahhhhh… tang xin feng pao is starting soon… btw when is Raymond coming out?

People often tell me that “if you are not working, you would be bored and restless. Be’cos you don’t know what to do with so much time on your hands.”

As a matter of fact, I am not troubled with boredom during my three weeks of rest. I even hope that there’s one more week for me to go Arena.

"Hangover" is funny!!! And you know the funnier thing is that

the cinema ger who sold me the ticket asked me:" Are you a student?"

And I reply:" Yes"

Woohoo!!! i got a cheaper tix... hahahaa

i'm still passable as a student. I'm so happy.. ha!

Went for my cousin post wedding celebration party at Redbox.

OMG!!! First time I went to a karaoke function room and I'm really shocked!!!

Their ktv not only allow you to sing and also:

- play mahjong

- play wii

- Surf internet

- had indoor buffet (waiters are also very fast in cleaning up)

- Alcoholic & softdrinks

- indoor toilet

- At least got three mics

- big big LCD screens

- specially lightnings

- comfy sofas

Isn't it cool!! And my cousin-in-law has her way of slashing prices. Incrediably low price for such a package. Woohoo!!! She's freaking cool and she been to so many countries. She recommended Scotland - great viewing place for scenary.

Oh ya, din get a chance to photo with them... so here's the substitute...

Btw, although there's jam but I had such a comfy time sitting inside the return bus that i must blog about it!

I have only heard of air stewardess. But have you heard of bus stewardess / bus attendent?

I guess its must have been ages that i last took a bus back to hometown. Last time I remember only a bottle of water was given to each of us throughout the whole trip. But now, I can watch movies and play games and and... the bus stewardess serve each of us a cup of hot tea, curry puff and chicken wings for us to munch and is so caring when she does her broadcast.

After we got down from the bus, we went to the Kitchener Road to eat the famous mutton soup. Lucky us! we had the last servings.

And now, for my third week of rest, I went to sign my contract and my official working day is this friday, 14 August 2009! Wish me luck on my first day of work .. hee

And now I going out for UP!

Farewell dinner for TCW & Wowo

After the trip to Pulau Ubin, I went to the Plaza Brasserie at Park Royal Hotel which serves scrumptious Asian and Western favourites.

Two words: LAVISH BUFFET




Busy eating ---> no food photos =) hee

They had a smorgasbord of cuisine from cold salad to piping hot Singapore Chilli crab, and Soft-Shell Crab, Sashimi, Singapore Laksa, Roti Prata, Oysters, Crab soup, Cantonese Roast Meats, Stir-fried Vegetables etc.

Had many many go-rounds… Wahahaha…

And not forgetting the deserts and ice cream!

“Hey, you want the claws right? Come!”

You know what?! I went to the Singapore Chilli Crab counter thrice and all three times, only left the legs. No claws for me… The chef even looked at me, smiled and said: “Crab only has two claws.” WT…

But then, I guess he felt pitiful for me because I wear braces and cannot bite. He came to my table and informed me that the chef is cooking the dish now. Hahaha… so that I can be the first one to grab all the claws.. Yippee!!!

After the happy meal, went to have drinks with the girls!

This is the first time that we went out together to a PUB. A PUB. A PUB leh!!! Cos everytime I ask them to go, the topic will somehow …… But that night, they went to the pub with me and even suggest the rooftop pub…Woohoo!!

Even though two of them had 9 a.m. class the next day
Even though most can’t drink
Even though most sleep at 11 p.m.

I am very very happy and overjoyed that THEY ORGANISE this outing for ME and we learnt more of each other that night.

Thank you GIRLs for the Treat and the lovely night.

One more thing.

For Jess whom asked me umpteen times that night, I had “Sex on the Beach”. You “Bloody Mary”! *wink*

来到这个迷人的小屋

这家平房建于20世纪，在1930年由当时的首席勘测，兰登威廉姆斯 (Chief Surveyor, Langdon Williams)作为一个度假胜地。该架构是都铎风格(Tudor-style)，适应热带气候，类似的小屋建于茶园在英国殖民统治的时代。在临街面临大海，可通过私人码头乘船来到这里。

2003年12月1日，这栋独特的房子在仄爪哇湿地由市区重建局被指定为保护建筑。在2006年完成修复，用作访客中心。仔细的挑选木材，以防止白蚁为患。

最有趣的特点是这个大楼的壁炉。因为它可能是唯一可以使用的壁炉在新加坡。

我可以做它们的代言人了。哈!

While I return from Australia, my friend is going to Australia for study.

And my purple-orange beloved friend here is going to New Zealand.

New Zealand. Wow. Another trip for me to holiday and visit her too! ha. I hope I can getaway and go for bungee jump.

We went to IKEA for dinner.

My friends cannot believe that I have never been here before.
