A little research on IRON

What is IRON?

A metal

A metal that is essential to our body.

A deficiency of iron will results in fatigue, poor work performance, and decreased immunity.

But excess iron will result in toxicity and even death.

Almost two-thirds of iron in the body is found in hemoglobin aka the-protein-in-red-blood-cells-that-carries-oxygen-to-tissues.

Now, let’s see what foods provide IRON?

From Animal Food: Red meats, fish, and poultry.

From Plant Food: Beans, cereal, tofu, raisin etc…

p/s Zee… it is better to eat from animal food cos our body can absorb 15% to 35% iron whilst plant foods absorption is only 2% to 20%. Maybe then u can make yr way to the drive le.
